We are in that limbo place where you sit and wait for something to happen because that is all you can do. Rob is looking for work and while he does we have moved in with his parents to save money. We are grateful for a place to stay and the kids are loving Grandma and Grandpas.
Rob and I realized the other day that in the 9 years we have been married we have moved 9 times (10 times by the end of the summer we hope). My daughter Holly has never lived in the same place longer than 2 years, mostly shorter. It doesn't seem to have scarred her but Sammy is showing signs of stress.
Yesterday he discovered that we are not going back to our apartment in Provo. For the first time in his life he wanted to go home and I said that we couldn't. In his prayer last night he told Heavenly Father that he couldn't go home anymore and that he was so sad. I felt sad that this is so hard for the little guy. But I am glad that Sammy is learning at a young age that he can tell his Heavenly Father anything. Hard times teach us some of the greatest lessons.
After his prayer we talked about finding a new place and Sam is excited that he will get to help us find a new home. He is also glad that he has Mom and Dad, Holly and Max and Most importantly Grandma and Grandpa and Nana only 15 minutes away now.

Oh, I hope, HOPE things work out soon! Keep us all posted, of course. :)
We know that waiting...may you know that 'calm amidst the storm' that we've come to know too. It's an all to fleeting feeling with the demands of three kids and the schedule and all. But it comes. Just as surely as that job will too. Love to you, the darling babies and your hardworking husband.
When we were moving from Long Beach a couple of years ago Levi did not want to leave his house behind. He was three and a half. But then we started wandering through houses and he discovered yards, extra bedrooms, and dirt. He feels like he picked the house we now live in, even though he didn't get to keep the master bedroom.
