I am still sore!
Why didn't the trail makers make the trail 5 miles longer to avoid the straight uphill climb that is Timpanogos?
We had a great time. When I asked the kids after we had come down the mountain if they wanted to do it again next summer they enthusiastically said Yes!
My spirit is willing but my flesh is week. Guess I better kick this flesh in it's butt.

fishing and canoeing
Patty (my mother-in-law) and I took some of the cousins fishing and canoeing.
We went fishing at a local trout farm.
It was the first time any of us (except Patty) had actually caught a fish. The first time I have removed a hook from a fish. Patty kept saying sorry to the fish while we pulled out the hooks (one from an eyeball).
That night I made fish nuggets from the 16.5 inch rainbow trout that Holly caught.
We did our canoeing at Fort Buenaventura in Ogden.
Camp Kiesel
Holly went to camp Kiesel with the other activity day girls. She shot a be be gun (she hit the target). She also shot an arrow which she said was much more difficult.

Fishing and Camping
Another year of camping and fishing with Rob's parents. Rob was too sick to join us again this year. Max ended up too sick to be there too. We went home the second day by way of the pediatrician. Lots and lots of puke.

Knock on wood
Almost two whole weeks of throwing up and diahrrea and I think Max is finally done. The last episode was yesterday at 3:00. It is lovely to sleep an entire night without changing bedding and towels two or three times. Max is a lot skinnier than he was two weeks ago and we all are exhausted and sufficiently grossed out. Holly and Sam both helped. Holly even held the throw up bucket. I am so glad to have my happy three year old back
