Summer

Here are some pictures of our summer so far.

A rainy day in June (We have had many of those this month)

Holly hiking Ensign Peek with Rob

Stake Lagoon Day

It rained so our fun at Lagoon was limited to a Train ride, a Carousel ride and a treat in Pioneer Village. But this is what the rain left behind.

Camping out in the back yard with cousins.

The Float!

One more month of fun and then back to school. I am not ready. I am never ready. I am just glad that Sam has one more year with me before Kindergarten.

more Sam

We have had Zoe, my niece with us for about 7 weeks. Zoe has slept on the top bunk and Holly and Sam have shared the bottom double bed. Zoe went back to Ohio and Holly was so excited to sleep on the top bunk.

Sammy: "Yeah, when Holly goes home then I get to have the top bunk!"

The day after my birthday Sam looked at me and said "Mom, you have old feet" Just what I wanted to hear.

Love that boy!

No Toil Nor Labor Fear

Rob has been a little restless. Understandable. He needs a job. Our stake relieved this restlessness for three weeks and now he is sore and tired but satisfied. Rob designed and constructed a float for the 24th of July parade. His Dad is a bishop and was in charge of the float but willingly let Rob take the helm. There were helpers of course in the evenings but my husband got out his Auto Cad, designed a boat and spent everyday from 8:00 in the morning to 9:00 at night seeing to it's construction. Here is a semi finished product and a link to his blog about it. All of the details, carvings, etc. are Rob's. He is a very talented artist.

A new tooth and a little mobility

Max has a tooth! He also has figured out how to squirm and roll his way across a room.

So Hooray for Max!
