Guilt Trips

I made an army tank out of paper for Sam after his Nana had already made several planes and an army car. I didn't just draw a tank I created a tank with scissors and tape. It was not enough however (he wanted more)as he let me know in no uncertain terms. The tank took forever and I had work to get started on so my answer was "tomorrow". Sam walked away with crayons and paper to let me know how he really felt. Later he came in and threw a paper with one blue tear drop at my feet and then stomped away. Hooray for guilt. Not a welcome companion but one I am certain will be a frequent one.

He still didn't get his tank.

Basketball

Holly started Jr. Jazz this winter. What a blast! I have never seen someone so beautifully combine modern dance and running. It has been so much fun to watch Holly discover team sports. Her team the Jazz has one more game. They haven't won a game yet but Holly loves every game and every practice. Who knows the last game might be the one they win. The girls on her team are getting really scrappy.

Happy Birthday Max!

Wow, 2 years old! You are getting so big so fast.

You can say so many words but your favorite sentence is "No Momma!"

You love to tease and you favorite targets are Mom and Holly.

You still love to wrestle anyone convenient.

You love nursery and the "grandmas and grandpas" that help take care of you there. Especially brother Greenwood. He loves you too.

You love your Mickey Mouse and you love Buzz Lightyear. You still love Winnie the Pooh.

You are finally sleeping better and I am so glad.

You have had a wonderful second year of life and Dad and I are so happy you are in our family.

Hooray for year 3!
