I had a conversation with my sister-in-law last night. We were wondering if all boys were as prone to torture as Sammy and her son are.
Sam loves to tease! He finds out what annoys you and then does it over and over again until you crack. Then he gets a look on his face like he is totally satisfied with his efforts.
I used to watch two little girls. Because my car is a tiny korean wonder I couldn't fit everyone in it to pick Holly up from school. I would load Sam and Rachel up in a double stroller everyday and then head out. Sam and Rachel argued over who got to sit in front. Well Sam argued whenever it wasn't his turn to sit in front. If he was in back he would spend his time tapping Rachel in the head or kicking under her chair or pushing her with his feet in her back. When I would ask him to stop he would get a slight smile on his face and wait until I started walking again to begin tormenting her. There was only so much I could do. I couldn't threaten him with getting out because that is what he wanted and then I would spend the entire walk trying to keep him from running in the street which is his other favorite thing to do besides tormenting people.
He does have a sweet side. The other day he proved to me that he does listen to me sometimes. It was really early morning. He was wide awake and I was. . . not. I put Sam in bed with me and he sat next to me and wiggled while I tried to sleep a little. I scratched my nose and Sam looked at me very seriously and said "Mom don't pick your nose. DON"T". So he does listen. Actually I am sure he is listening all of the time he just selects what he thinks is doable.

I love it, Erin! I read a few of the earlier posts--and TOTALLY cracked up about Holly's primary teacher story. How hilarious! I love what they come up with.
I'm really glad we have these blogs to keep in touch over the summer. :)
Oh Erin! He's fabulous! LOVE the photo....he's cheeky through and through, isn't he? Will is too. Oh but the trouble we'll have if they get together.....when will that be by the way?
And about picking your nose....he's right, you know.
I wish we could get together soon. I loved spending time with all three of my oldest friends. I have missed you all and spending one night talking just made me crave your company more. What a blessing you all are!
Sam would love your Will but your right it will take our complete attention if we allowed them in the same room.
