I am thankful for doctors.
I am thankful for EKGs.
I am thankful for Pacemakers.
I am thankful for a husband who is out of work so he could take over for me.
I am thankful for my Mother and Father-in-law who did everything in there power to help.
I am thankful that I am here and not in Arkansas (so far away from my Mom).
I am thankful that Heavenly Father set up this week so that it would go smoothly despite the scariness, despite the uncertainty.
I am thankful for the Holy Ghost that gave me peace and gave my Mom the peace and strength to get through.
I am grateful for Thanksgiving and that Heavenly Father chose this week for everything to happen. He did something similar 10 years ago Easter. These holidays are some of the best reminders of the Savior for me. It's good to be reminded of The Plan of Salvation when life gets hard or scary.
I am thankful that Heavenly Father wants my Mom here longer.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Wow--it sounds like a huge week. And, sounds like it all ended up alright. Hope it continues to go well!
Elder Holland said (roughly) that this gospel is about happy endings. If it's not happy, it's not the end. I'm so so happy that this particular end isn't really one. So so thankful. I'm praying for you and I'm praying for the fiery red head who I've always loved more than "Lucy". Please let us know what we can do. We'll be there for Christmas. Oh how much sweeter will this Christmas be with sweet Sylvia still here?! I wish I had your number to call you!!
Lenna,
I loved the comment from Elder Holland. I am going to store it in my brain along with the comment from a cute Russian sister in my ward. She said in very broken English that there is a Russian saying "If I am still standing I must be ok." I am going to take these sayings out and look at them often.
I am so excited that you are coming for Christmas. If you have time in all of the hustle and bustle we should all get together.
I creid when you mentioned Easter to years ago. I never thought of it like that. Thanks. And thanks for doing all the hard work that week. You were a rock.
